You weren't raised in a barn, so why get married in one? This is where you will want to begin your "happily-ever-after".
At the end of an old graveled farm road, is an extraordinary home that perfectly reflects the unique and eclectic personality of its creator Frank Helsabeck. In 1978, he began working to make his dreams a reality by purchasing a saw mill and chopping down some of the trees that stood on the Helsabeck family farm for more than 150 years. After digging a well, he began building his house around the well one room at a time with a large open room for “dancing and romancing”. He built his own doors, windows, furniture and dazzling light fixtures; pretty much he built anything he needed, down to the curtain pulls! About a decade into the project, he married a mail-order-bride from the Philippines. Unfortunately, they were unable to have children, so she moved away and took his last hope of a family. Sadly, in 2011, Frank Helsabeck passed away, but the legacy of this unique home built by his own hands remains for us to enjoy and celebrate the happiest moments of our lives with our family and friends. So begin your journey to a lifetime of happiness, love, romance and family at the place built by a hopeless romantic who I affectionately call, Uncle Frank.
